Tufting Design Guidelines
Please reference these guidelines when thinking of a design for your very first tufted project!
-
1. YOUR DESIGN SHOULD ONLY BE HARDLINES.
Think of a logo, your favorite Studio Ghibli movie character, Anime, cartoon, fruit, flower, etc. We will be tracing your design on your fabric ahead of your arrival, this means your design file will be needed.

-
2. LOOK FOR FLAT COLOR BLOCK IMAGES.
Refrain from images that have hard shading or gradients. Having different color tones to express shadows and dimension it’s ok, however, remember to keep those color as flat as possible.

-
3. Beginner friendly
Avoid having words in your design. At the beginning it is difficult to maintain the shape of the font. Keeping your design as simple as possible for your first project will result in a much enjoyable fist time. Stress-free!
